Springtime in Insa-dong

Insa-dong (인사동) is an important place where old but precious and traditional goods are on display. There are galleries, traditional restaurants, traditional teahouses, and cafes.

So, if you are planning to visit Korea, you MUST go to Insa-dong at least once in your life as there are so many unforgettable and remarkable things here.

As you can see in the picture, Insa-dong was very crowded last Monday, as it was Korea's "golden" holiday break which was Buddha's birthday and Children's day.

This is how it looks if you go inside Ssamziegil.

It's unique design and the shops attract people.

Most of the things that are sold here are Korean traditional souvenirs such as Korean traditional masks, folding fans, key chains K-pop stars and tremendous more things about Korea.

Taking a walk around Insa-dong, we found Buddha's Birthday celebration where cherish the memory of deceased people from ship crash was also held.

After some time, we had to fill our stomach to move on.

The menu was 'Seafood and Green Onion Pancake' which was called as 'Haemul Pajeon'

The left soup looking dish is 'Tteokguk', those white colored milk looking drinks are called 'Makgeoli'.

If you have plenty of time and healthy legs, you can also try to visit a famous coffee shop nearby Insa-dong, where Korean drama "Coffe Prince" was filmed.
