What is Botox?
It is a refined product of a nerval toxin, Botulinum toxin which is produced by Clostridium botulinum. It prevents secretion of acetylcholine from nervous junction part and partly paralyzes muscles that cause wrinkles, and flattens them out. It generally lasts for 4~6 months, about 5 minutes of procedure and you can directly return to your daily life.

What is Filler?
Filler is an implant that fills tissues underneath the skin to give volume, and hyaluronate is its main component. Also, Restylane or Juvederm are mainly used products with duration of 6 months~1year and a half. Radiesse, which is more persistent than other fillers is mostly composed of calcium hyaluronate or apatite and lasts about 1~2 years. It is also effective for nasolabial wrinkle, forehead and nasal plastic surgery.
